What makes the UltraShape procedure unique?
Body contouring with the UltraShape delivers measurable, long-lasting circumference reduction in target body areas, and provides the following benefits:
Non-Surgical - The procedure reduces the fat thickness and circumference of the treated area with no incisions, cannulas, injections or needles.
Safe - The focused ultrasound causes a mechanical (non-thermal) effect that selectively targets fat cells without affecting the surrounding blood vessels, nerves and connective tissue.
Effective - After three sessions, patients experience an average of 4 cm reduction in body circumference. These results have been proven in clinical studies and are demonstrated in the tens of thousands of treatments performed worldwide.
Comfort - There is no anesthesia or sedation required. You simply lie on the bed and the technician guides a handheld device that delivers the ultrasound energy over your body. You may feel a slight burning or aching sensation with each ultrasound pulse.

How does the UltraShape technology work?
The patented UltraShape technology uses a handheld ultrasonic transducer to deliver controlled focused ultrasound at a precise depth within the fat layer. The technology is selective, meaning that only fat cells are broken down. The treatment area is marked and each point within that designated area is treated only once to ensure complete and uniform treatment.

What happens to the fat after the UltraShape procedure?
During the UltraShape procedure, the fat cell walls are disrupted. The fat cell content, primarily comprised of triglycerides, is broken down and transported to the blood stream. The fat is processed via the body's natural mechanisms and turns into building blocks for energy.

What body areas are treated?
Clinical trials have shown that the procedure is safe and effective for treating the abdomen, outer thighs ("saddle bags"), and flanks ("love handles").

How much does the procedure cost?
We are charging $1.10 per pulse at the moment (opening special) - which is less than half the price of other Clinics in Sydney.
The treatment fee is determined by the Ultrashape which calculates the number of pulses needed to treat each fat area via a 3D scanning technology. To give clients a rough guide, the average extended palm and fingers is approximately 450 pulses.
Trish, our Ultrashape therapist, can meet with you for a complimentary consultation to explain the procedure and give you a quote. The exact cost of your treatment will be determined at the time of your treatment.

How long is the procedure?
The number of treatment areas and their size will determine the duration of the treatment, which can last between 30 - 90 mins.

What happens after treatment?
There is no downtime or recovery time associated with the UltraShape procedure. You can resume your daily routine immediately after treatment and there is no need for maintenance treatments. All you need to do is maintain a healthy diet and exercise to maximize results.

How long will it take to see results?
After the UltraShape procedure, the contents of the broken-down fat cells are naturally cleared by the body over a 2-4 week period. Circumference and fat thickness reduction is usually seen within the first 14 - 28 days post treatment. Maximum results are seen about 28 days after the final treatment.

Are there any side effects?
Extensive clinical trials and over 50,000 patient treatments performed worldwide have demonstrated the excellent safety profile of the UltraShape procedure.

Are there people for whom UltraShape is not recommended?
UltraShape is aimed primarily at healthy people who are not obese but would like to improve their body contour by reducing local areas of fat from the abdomen, outer thighs, or flanks. During the consultation session, Your therapist will assess if UltraShape is right for you.
