Moles, Skin Tags, red spots and most small skin lesions can be removed from the skin using diathermy (a low powered direct current ) or radio frequency ( a stronger waveform suitable for larger/ harder lesions).

How does it work?
Radiofrequency seals as it cuts the tissue, minimising bleeding, and leaving a smooth surface which forms a superficial scab. Provided this is left to heal naturally (generally 7 to 10 days ), there is rarely any scarring at the treatment site. No stitching is required, and the procedure is quick and simple.

With both techniques, there may be a slight colour difference in the treated skin (compared to the surrounding skin) but this will tend to fade and blend over time.

Generally, no anaesthetic is required for diathermy treatments but for radiofrequency treatments, a local anesthetic injection is usually required.

What areas can I treat?
Any area of the body can be treated and generally, one treatment is sufficient to remove each lesion.
