 How does it work?
Fractional Skin Resurfacing causes tiny dot, or pixel-like damage to treated areas in the skin, leaving most of the surrounding skin intact. New collagen is produced via the injury to the dermis, which helps reduce the appearance of lines and wrinkles, scarring & acne. Fractional Skin Resurfacing allows the skin to heal much faster than if the whole area was treated, as the healthy, untreated tissue surrounding the treated tissue acts as a natural bandage whilst the treated area heals.
How many treatments will I need?
Improvements can be seen with every treatment, but 3-6 treatments are recommended depending on the amount of correction required for maximum results.
When can I see results?
Optimal improvement after Fractional Skin Resurfacing is usually visible in about 2 – 3 months as collagen remodelling and skin tightening continues long after the treatment.
What should I expect after my treatment?
You will feel a burning sensation on the skin immediately after the treatment which can last from 1 – 4 hours. Depending on the intensity of the treatment you will experience redness and crusting on the treated area for 2-7 days.

Fractional Skin Resurfacing is extremely effective in treating depressed acne scarring. 2-3 Fractional Skin Resurfacing treatments will result in 50 - 75% improvement in depressed acne scarring for most people. Fractional Skin Resurfacing is not suitable for small dish or ice pick scarring.
