What is Cellulite?
The body’s muscles are wrapped in a padding of fatty connective tissue. The fat cells in the padding are held in place by a network of fibres and nourished and cleansed by body fluids. When this cleansing mechanism malfunctions, the fatty connective tissue is flooded with toxins that thicken into a gelatin like substance which forms pockets under the skin. The visible result is the puckered "orange peel" appearance on the skin’s surface, that we call cellulite.
Cellulite is much more common in woman than men and appears to have a hormonal association.
It affects over 50% of Australian women regardless of whether they are thin, normal or overweight.

How does it work?
Accent RF Cellulite Reduction breaks down cellulite in three ways:
Deep subdermal heating shrinks the fat cells and breaks down the abnormal fat pockets
Deep subdermal heating strengthens the network of fibres which hold the fat cells in place
Deep subdermal heating enhances blood flow in the fatty connective tissue, allowing the body’s natural cleansing mechanism to repair and eliminate toxins into the lymphatic system
Using a unique combination of unipolar and bipolar radio frequency, Accent RF Cellulite Reduction gently heats the subdermis to the required therapeutic temperature. The end result is smoothing and tightening of the treated area.
What results can I expect from my Accent RF Cellulite reduction treatments?
You can expect a smoother, more toned appearance of the treated area with a general improvement in skin laxity. The appearance of stretch marks may also be reduced.
Many patients also report that they are able to lose weight more easily while undergoing their treatments. This is an added benefit of Accent RF Cellulite Therapy.
Does it hurt?
You will feel a deep warmth in your skin. Your therapist will ensure that your treatment is always comfortable for you.
Are there any side effects or downtime?
You may be a little red and feel heat in the treated area for several hours. This will quickly resolve, allowing you to carry on with your everyday life.

Is there anything I should do to maximise the results of my Accent RF Cellulite Reduction treatments?
Yes! You MUST remain fully hydrated (before, during, after and between treatments). Adequate hydration enhances the effects of the treatment and helps to remove the fat and toxins from the body. Unless you are properly hydrated you may not achieve optimal results. 6 to 8 glasses of fluid per day (not including coffee) is adequate.
It is also advisable to follow a sensible balanced eating regime and perform moderate exercise (aerobic and weight bearing) on a regular basis. It is never advisable to crash diet. This slows the metabolism and causes accumulation of toxins which may worsen the cellulite.

How much does it cost?
Treatments start at $329 per half hour ( enough time to treat a stomach, both thighs, both upper arms or knees ). Ask about our 5 packs for $700.
